SHIV sena is name of the Army of Lord Shiva and sainik are the devotees of Lord Shiva who are the Hindus by birth and caste. The name chosen by one of the political cartoonist shri Bal Thackeray in 19th June 1966 in Bombay Maharashtra India.
This man Bal Thackeray given the slogan of Hindutwa and Marathi manus on which entire Bombay and Maharashtra assembles in his party and Banner, they attacked on South Indian people's, North Indian people's job, work, business, transport, trade union's, film industry, industrial estates , contracts, trade, shipping business, seaports etc etc
Bal Thackeray became Bala sahab Thackeray, the self independent goverment of Mumbai and Maharashtra himself. HIS Party Shiva Sena comes in power but Bal Thackeray had never promoted any one else or maratha manus in party.
AFTER HIS death Raj Thackeray taken his position In party but after few month's a conflicts starts In family and his Son Uddhav Thackeray became Shiv Sena Chief.
As i am saying pariwarwad beacuse their are many maratha leaders in Shiv Sena but only the FAMILY of Bal Thackeray is heading as chief. Now Uddhav son Aditya Thackeray is newly elected member of vidhansabha in few days back results.
SHIV SENA IS asking BHARTIYA Janta PARTY to work on 50 -50 formula to make goverment in Maharashtra this time.
RAJ Thackeray has made his own party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena MNS and he had tried to established himself in the same pattern of political theme like his uncles Bat Thackeray done in 1970 ,s after attacking on North Indian auto driver's, shop keeper, taxi drivers, Labour's, workers, office, business men... Raj Thackeray fails in this politics and his party is strongly made hold in few areas, and city but not in Mumbai and complete Maharashtra.
Congress and NCP leader Sarad Pawar a Maratha leader is succussfully doing well in this election also with wining good number of seats.
